Netizens Blame P Nation For Their Disappointment In MAMAMOO Hwasa’s “I Love My Body”
Earlier today, MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa released her first song since leaving RBW and joining P Nation. Titled “I Love My Body”, the song’s message is very Hwasa-esque, and in the teasers and music video she looked absolutely stunning.

With such a promising message and beautiful teasers, fans were hopeful that this would be another hit from the MAMAMOO maknae. However, now that the song has been released, many have been left disappointed.
Based on a bunch of comments on Reddit about the song, netizens are comparing “I Love My Body” to a generic Meghan Trainor song. They think that the lyrics, while sending a good message, are too plain and unoriginal, especially with how artistic and creative Hwasa’s songs usually are.
The blame for the “disappointing” song, however, isn’t being put on Hwasa herself, but her new label. K-Pop fans have noticed a trend in the kind of music that P Nation puts out, and this isn’t the first time that an artist has joined the label only to release songs that aren’t their usual style and therefore end up disappointing fans. HyunA is a good example of this — during her time at P Nation, netizens felt like her music took a turn in a way that many didn’t like.
In fact, some people are saying the only redeeming quality of “I Love My Body” is Hwasa herself, given her incredible vocal abilities and overall confidence and charisma. That hasn’t kept Redditors from criticizing the song, though.

They hope that in the future, Hwasa goes back to the kind of music that she’s more well-known for, and is able to put her beautiful voice to good use!
