Here’s What MAMAMOO Did When They Ran Into Moonbyul’s High School Bully On The Streets
In light of the news that MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul and Solar have resigned with RBW while Hwasa and Wheein are still in talks, Moonbyul’s recent story about how her fellow members reacted when they ran into one of her high school bullies on the streets resurfaced.
On NAVER NOW, where Moonbyul is a DJ, she shared a story about how she was bullied in high school.
When I was in third year of high school, I went around auditioning because I wanted to become a singer. But I was bullied for it.

What made it more difficult was the fact that her bullies used to be her friends.
It was really hard. We used to be close. But they started cussing me out.

But one day, after becoming a singer, Moonbyul ran into one of those bullies when she was with her fellow MAMAMOO members.
And how they reacted to Moonbyul’s bully still touches her to this day.
We ran into one of the bullies while I was working. She pretended not to know me. She was living a tough life. And my fellow members knew the story, so they all glared at her. I felt like I could depend on them. I thought, ‘These are my friends.’

Although it was a small revenge, it was clear that MAMAMOO had Moonbyul’s back when it mattered.
Moonbyul used to be naturally traumatized by her past with bullies, but she announced that she’s better now.
One of the bullies even requested to follow me. It used to really stress me out, but now I realize that it’s no big deal.
