MBC Called Out For Excluding ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Jiwoong From “2024 ISAC” Content
MBC’s Idol Star Athletic Championships (also known as ISAC) finally returned for Chuseok 2024, airing in multiple parts from September 16 to 18 for the holiday. The event took a hiatus, not airing in 2023, so fans looked forward to its return with new categories added.
ZEROBASEONE (also known as ZB1) has especially delighted fans with their appearance at 2024 ISAC. Kim Jiwoong and Sung Hanbin both went viral for their archery skills.

The two even won gold in the archery event. It marked the group’s first gold medal win.

Despite this, fans are dissatisfied with MBC’s coverage of Jiwoong.
MBC has notably been posting lots of content, capitalizing off Hanbin’s appearance. They have used him for multiple thumbnails.

Yet, when it comes to Jiwoong, they hardly used him, even in ZEROBASEONE-content. Fans especially found it weird that he was excluded from an archery compilation video of best moments, considering Jiwoong is responsible for one of the most viral moments, as he broke a camera lens and won gold.
