Media Outlet Obtains Telegram Message Between Min Hee Jin And NewJeans Member’s Uncle
It has been revealed that former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin spoke with the uncle of a member of NewJeans last September through Telegram about the Ministry of Employment and Labor. This occurred around the same time a fan filed a complaint to the Ministry of Employment and Labor claiming that Hanni was bullied at work.
There are claims that Min, an internal director at the time, may have violated the contract by discussing issues that could negatively impact the company and the artist’s family.
On January 16, Chosun Biz obtained a Telegram conversation message between Min and Mr. A, the uncle of a NewJeans member from last September.
Mr. A: The Ministry of Employment and Labor has started. Please call me.
Min Hee Jin: I’m currently getting an IV. I’ll call you in the afternoon.
Two days before this message, a NewJeans fan filed a complaint with the Ministry of Employment and Labor requesting that the NewJeans bullying incident be investigated.
Previously, Hanni revealed her workplace bullying incident during the group’s live broadcast on September 11, 2024. The matter grew, and Hanni appeared as a witness at the National Assembly audit to testify.
Media outlets are finding two possible interpretations of the Telegram message. First, it could be interpreted as “What matter would she like to get started at the Ministry of Employment and Labor?” or second, “What kind of work related to the Ministry of Employment and Labor has started?”
Regardless, because this shows that she knew about the petitions related to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, news outlets believe suspicions of intervention are unavoidable.
Media outlets also report that suspicions of tampering will also most likely resurface.
Most recently, Min responded to the news reporter regarding the Telegram message.
