Mega Popular Pop Star Wants To Collaborate With LE SSERAFIM, Fans Elated
In a recent interview with Korean media outlet My Daily, one of the world’s most popular pop stars opened up about her admiration for Korean music and hinted at potential future collaborations.
Having previously teamed up with major K-Pop names, she discussed her excitement about working with the popular group LE SSERAFIM, sparking a wave of anticipation among fans worldwide. The pop star is none other than English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa!
Dua’s first foray into K-Pop was back in 2018 when she collaborated with BLACKPINK on the hit single “Kiss and Make Up,” which became an international success. The track dominated the charts in Malaysia and Singapore, reached the top 40 in nineteen countries, and made a notable impact on both the UK Singles Chart and South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. Since then, it has earned certifications around the world, including platinum in Australia and silver in the UK, solidifying its place as a fan favorite.
In 2020, she continued her journey in the Korean music scene with a remix of her song “Physical,” featuring Hwasa from MAMAMOO. The remix gained massive popularity. The two stars had even previously shared the stage at the Mnet Asia Music Awards in 2019, where they performed Dua’s pervious hits “Don’t Start Now” and “New Rules.”
