BTS Confirms Second Collaboration With Megan Thee Stallion

The hints are interesting!

Recently, American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been busy promoting her new album, Megan, and the tracks, including “Mamushi (feat. Yuki Chiba).” On August 29, the star tweeted about the behind-the-scenes of the video, promising more news later.

Her following post on X (formerly Twitter) consisted of only emojis—the horse, a purple heart, and the side eyes emoji—and an X between them.

Fans instantly thought it might be a hint at a BTS collaboration due to the purple heart, as they’re often associated with each other. Besides, she previously collaborated with the group for a remix of their hit song “Butter.” They agreed to two collaborations in the deal: One for the group and one for her.

Now, it has been confirmed!

BTS’s official X account quote-tweeted confirming the collaboration. By adding a koala emoji, ARMYs assume the collaboration is with RM specifically, as KOYA the koala is his BT21 character.

What’s curious, though, is the addition of the hedgehog emoji. Some think it’s a joke about RM’s current hairstyle.

Others wonder if it’s a hint that the song will appear in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film.

Some think it’s maybe just the title of the song.

What do you think?
