Fans were incredibly excited about the group’s performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The massive stadium is home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets, and TWICE’s performance would make them the first K-Pop girl group that have performed at the venue.

The concert took place on Thursday, June 6, and the night was filled with many iconic moments, like Jeongyeon being the subject of some intense attention from Jihyo, Sana, and Mina

…or a security guard being awed by Momo‘s stunning solo performance.

The biggest moment of the show is no doubt when TWICE were declared the first girl group to have a sold-out show at MetLife Stadium!

As fans celebrated this massive achievement and testament to their talents, some couldn’t help but notice that the official Twitter account for MetLife Stadium liked a tweet talking about the group.

The tweet unnecessarily compared TWICE to another group and was made by a fan account months before the concert.

Hours later, MetLife Stadium tweeted an apology, stating that the like was unintentional and that they are proud of TWICE for the achievement.

Fans still felt that TWICE were directly owed an apology, and were not impressed with the tweet.
