Mexican Girl Group Jeans Responds To NewJeans’ “Plagiarism” Allegations

NewJeans has recently been in the midst of plagiarism allegations.
On May 20, NewJeans became a hot topic as allegations of Min Hee Jin plagiarizing the Mexican group Jeans, with many pointing out similarities to the branding and also the choreography.
Following the spread of the images, fans came to the defense of the group and many wanted answers from Jeans and their thoughts, especially as the members were receiving hateful comments from fans worldwide.
On May 21, after the allegations came to light, a fan took to a TikTok video to tag the group and explain that the members were being “attacked” because of the plagiarism allegations.
Please say something about it. NewJeans are being attacked for alleged plagiarism, and they are just girls who are all under 18 years old.

Netizens were surprised when they saw the official account for Jeans respond to the comment with, “We love that the 90s has come back and reached new generations.”
When NewJeans debuted, they gained attention for their concept, which seemed like an ode to the past generation of pop, and it seems like Jeans appreciated and supported that. Netizens have responded to the comments and are now blasting HYBE.
