Min Hee Jin has filed an injunction to protest her dismissal.
On September 13, Min Hee Jin’s representatives revealed that the ousted CEO had filed an injunction against HYBE with Seoul’s Central District Court.
Min Hee Jin’s representatives slammed HYBE and alleged the CEO’s dismissal would not stand in court, citing the fact that a previous court ruling ordered HYBE to guarantee Min Hee Jin a 5-year term as explicitly stated in their contract.
According to Min Hee Jin’s shareholder agreement, Min Hee Jin is guaranteed a 5-year term as CEO and an inside director on the board. The court has explicitly acknowledged this fact, yet despite this, HYBE fired Min Hee Jin and tried justifying it with the same excuses they have used previously.
