Min Hee Jin claims ADOR‘s new CEO will only let let produce for NewJeans for two more months.
In a statement shared by Min Hee Jin and her legal counsel, they have once again attacked the new ADOR CEO, Ju Young Kim, and ADOR’s offer to her.
On August 27, ADOR’s board of directors told the media that former CEO Min Hee Jin would be allowed to continue to be in charge of producing NewJeans.
However, this is a one-sided piece of media play that had nothing to do with Min Hee Jin’s personal intentions and she did not agree with any of the contents stated in the report.
Then, on August 28, the chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Ju Young Kim, sent a contract regarding work delegation to Min Hee Jin.
There are many things in the contract that are one-sided and unreasonable, and many points that are difficult for us to understand from a common sense perspective, even though they revealed through the media that it was meant to be an offer for her to continue the production side.
The contract period stated in the work delegation contract is from August 27, 2024 to November 1, 2024, just two months and six days.
NewJeans successfully finished their fan meeting in the Tokyo Dome in June and is planning a world tour for 2025. It’s amazing to think that they think preparations and production for an idol group world tour can be done in just two months. Through this, HYBE’s designated directors for ADOR are proving that they lack the understanding to complete their core tasks.
Just based on the unconventional contract period, it is clear to us that their claim that all decisions will be the best decision for NewJeans was false and just media play.

Min Hee Jin’s side continued their attack, claiming that the contract’s “toxic provisions” allow ADOR to make the contract length even shorter if they want. They would be allowed to immediately terminate the contract if they deem Min Hee Jin’s performance unfit to their standards, but did not provide any baselines or goals she would need to reach.
ADOR’s board of directors has demanded that Min Hee Jin sign the new contract by today, August 30, but Min Hee Jin stated it will be impossible to sign.
