On September 27, KST, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin was the keynote speaker at the 2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel. During her speech, Min talked about her career at length.
Min Hee Jin shared her experience of working at both SM Entertainment (SME) and HYBE. For the former, she praised her ex-boss, Lee Soo Man, who had shown immense faith in her abilities. Min also revealed that she was the one who came up with the logos of SME and HYBE.
She also added that she was the one who came up with the popular tagline of HYBE, “We believe in music.”

Min added that her motto was to prevent people from mechanizing their work. What she had envisioned was a synthesis of art and business.

Min joined HYBE in 2019 as the Chief Branding Officer and oversaw the company’s rebranding from Big Hit Entertainment to the multi-label system of HYBE. She was appointed the CEO of HYBE’s new subsidiary, ADOR, in 2021. The rift between her and HYBE started early this year, leading to Min Hee Jin being terminated from her CEO position. Though recently ADOR had offered her a compromise, she turned it down, and even claimed that HYBE wanted to pay her to leave the company.
