The ADOR girl group was expected to drop the title track “How Sweet,” the B-side “Bubble Gum,” and instrumental versions of both songs on May 24. They were also announced to be making their official Japanese debut on June 21 with another double single consisting of the title track “Supernatural” and the B-side “Right Now.” Min Hee Jin previously shared a vague statement on the matter.

During the press conference, she confidently stated that NewJeans’ plans will “continue as planned” and that they do not want to have to “suffer” because of their parent company.

Of course, we will continue as planned. Why should we have to suffer because of HYBE?

She added that ADOR was greatly inconvenienced by the legal matters presented by HYBE.

From ADOR’s perspective, I want to file a lawsuit against HYBE for the interruption of business.

Since HYBE confiscated their computers, they were allegedly not able to continue working properly. The ADOR CEO stated that as a mere art school graduate, she does not know the nitty gritty details about these business matters.

They took away our computers. I was asked to return it yesterday, but the articles were published beforehand. The people there are former lawyers and accountants who know about these things. I’m just an art school graduate and by myself. These people were plotting to kill me.

— Min Hee Jin

ADOR’s legal representative backed up her statement, saying that the girl group’s promotions will proceed as they were publicly announced.

We cannot have any interference with NewJeans’ activities, so promotions will proceed as planned.
