On April 22, it was reported that ADOR’s CEO was asked to step down after HYBE found evidence that the ADOR sublabel was attempting to leave HYBE.

The revelation has shocked the K-Pop industry since Min Hee Jin had been touted (by both HYBE and industry insiders) as the creative genius behind K-Pop stars NewJeans.
Netizens reacted to the news, with many likening Min Hee Jin to Moh Seul Hee, one of the villains in the hit K-Drama, Queen Of Tears. In the K-Drama, Moh Seul Hee is seen attempting to steal Hong Hae In (actress Kim Ji Won)’s family fortune.
Netizens criticized Min Hee Jin and called her “Moh Seul Hee-Jin,” a play on the character’s name.
