Min Hee Jin Slams HYBE And BeLift Lab For Damaging NewJeans And Using ILLIT As Shield

Min Hee Jin slammed BeLift Lab when revealing her stance on the civil lawsuit the company has claimed against Min.

BeLift Lab has filed a ₩20.0 billion KRW (about $14.3 million USD) damage suit against the former ADOR CEO due to the alleged damages caused to ILLIT after Min made public accusations of plagiarism against the company.

While the court reviewed documents and statements from both sides and decided on the final trial schedule, BeLift Lab applied for an expedited trial date and claimed that Min was intentionally delaying the trial.

In response, Min Hee Jin’s side released a scathing statement on November 18. Min’s representatives accused BeLift Lab and HYBE of using ILLIT as a shield and ignoring all the damage they have done to NewJeans.

Despite clear testimony from an internal whistleblower and evident similarities, they are denying it and misleading public opinion. HYBE and BeLift Lab are the ones spreading numerous false claims, disrupting work, and defaming while bringing an issue that could have been resolved internally into the public sphere.

They should reflect on who is truly using rookie artists as shields to claim work disruption while ignoring the damage done to NewJeans.
