Min Hee Jin’s Announced Tell-All Documentary About Feud With HYBE Sparks Heated And Divided Reactions
This article is part of our coverage of HYBE vs. ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. You can read more and view the entire timeline here.
Ex-ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin recently spoke at the Hyundai Card Davinci Motel, where she closed out the event as the final speaker. During her talk, she shared previously unstated details about her feud with HYBE, including the costs she has incurred due to legal fees.
The ongoing legal battle labeled “ADOR VS HYBE” has transformed since it began, but it has remained an unexpected first in the industry regarding how it has been handled. Details surrounding the two companies have caused a split between supporters of either side, including allegedly putting NewJeans at odds with HYBE.
Min Hee Jin reflected on this during the event, mentioning that it was a first and “unprecedented event.” She continued saying that she would “definitely” release a documentary revealing the entire process to viewers.
Everyone, this is an unprecedented incident. I will definitely make a documentary, and I will reveal the entire process.
— Min Hee Jin
Reactions on the international side have been vastly negative, with many questioning why the former CEO would announce such plans.

strange to exploit a situation that, supposedly, caused her lots of hurt and definitely hurt the newjeans girls…but yeah, she definitely just wants to protect them and make music and she’s definitely not a money-hungry freak that’s been using newjeans as a shield for her wrongs! https://t.co/rsrPJoysVU

Korean netizens have responded almost entirely on the other side of the spectrum, suggesting that Netflix take on the task.
- “Get on this, Netflix. We’re waiting.”
- “I clapped so hard at that, LOL. Seriously, this needs to be made into a documentary. HYBE is too dirty.”
- “I’ve been begging for a documentary since this first broke, LOL. We need to expose HYBE’s ugliness and make it public.”
- “If Netflix produces this, I’ll resubscribe.”
- “If Netflix releases a documentary about ‘the woman who brought down HYBE,’ that’d be epic…”
- “Netflix, I’m planning to cancel my subscription next month. But if you make this documentary, I won’t.”
