As the number of signatures on the National Assembly petition to revoke HYBE’s “leading company” status has surpassed 50,000 signatures, the Ministry of Employment and Labor responded that they will decide soon whether or not to withdraw the company.

HYBE is cooperating with the local government offices, and the results are expected to be released soon. With this, we will immediately decide whether to withdraw the ’top enterprise’ designation.

The petition started after HYBE’s internal documents were leaked and revealed that some HYBE employees had allegedly monitored and disparaged artists from other companies. The leaked documents fueled extreme public outrage and, hence, gathered a large number of signatures in a short time.
If HYBE’s withdrawal is confirmed, all benefits will be canceled including preferential credit ratings and interest rates for loans, and more.
