ADOR Officially Declared “Not Guilty” Of Mistreating NJZ (NewJeans) Manager

Previously, NJZ‘s manager had accused ADOR‘s CEO of bullying. They claimed to have been wrongfully detained and questioned, with their laptop taken away as well.
As of February 24, 2025, it was reported that the case has been concluded. The Ministry of Employment and Labor concluded that the CEO is not guilty. The manager in question allegedly helped the girls contact advertisers and brands, excluding ADOR from the equation. As such, ADOR viewed this as illegal as the manager was still employed by ADOR.
Following their internal audit against the manager, the manager filed a complaint with the ministry, citing workplace bullying. The ministry concluded the case with “no charges” against HYBE’s CEO, stating that it was “unable to confirm whether workplace bullying occurred.”
The Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office under the Ministry of Employment and Labor concluded the investigation into the complaint against CEO Kim by determining that there was no evidence of wrongdoing. The core reason was that the submitted materials alone could not verify the occurrence of workplace bullying.
ADOR previously responded to the allegations of workplace bullying. You can read more about it below.
