The final of Mnet‘s I-LAND 2 has finally come, and the lineup for the upcoming girl group has been revealed.

In June, it was announced that despite many thoughts, the final lineup of the group would have six members.

The contestants who made it to the last episode all performed again for the fans and judges (along with special idol guests), and the combination of members was picked, with five choices coming from public votes and one from the producers.

It was then revealed that the name of the group would be izna and will be produced by THE BLACK LABEL‘s Teddy.

6. Mai – Producer’s Choice

After all the members were picked from the votes, the remaining contestants had one more chance to be chosen by the producers; they chose Mai. Throughout the show, Mai has grown and worked extremely hard, which was recognized by the producers. They picked Mai because she had something special, and her visuals stood out to all the judges, even though she had areas that needed improvement.

5. Ryu Sarang – 319,693 Votes

Ryu Sarang was the final member to make it into the group with the votes from the public, and it was clear how much she wanted it from the raw emotions seen. Throughout the show, she has constantly improved and even though she almost got eliminated during the semi-final, she made it to the final lineup.

4. KOKO – 320,124 votes

KOKO was ranked within the top three during the part two test and has shown potential as a leader throughout the show, always showcasing amazing performance skills and energy.

3. Yoon Jiyoon 471,699 Votes

With so many votes, Yoon Jiyoon has been a star throughout the competition and is rightly classed as the center with her charisma, talent, and visuals. She will definitely be a vital part of the team.

2. Bang Jeemin – 591,495 Votes

While some of the contestants have had a short time, Bang Jeemin has trained for 1000 days and deserves her chance to debut. In particular, she has been a firm fan favorite after missing out on R U Next. Throughout the competition, she was constantly part of the best competitors and will be a force to be reckoned with.

1. Choi Jungeun – 823,393 Votes

During the entire show, Choi Jungeun performed some of the most iconic songs, and each time, she showcased unreal talent that certified that she was more than ready to debut. With so many votes, it proves that Choi Jungeun is a crowd favorite, and many will be happy for her having got first place.

There was then a huge surprise to netizens: fitting in with the concept of THE BLACK LABEL, as explained by MC Somi.

Judge and producer BIGBANG‘s Taeyang announced they were picking one more member, and that was Jeong Saebi, who was unsurprisingly shocked and emotional. She was picked because the producers felt that she loved being on stage and captiured the attention of fans when she performed.
