What You Can Expect From Mnet’s Upcoming Survival Show “Queendom Puzzle”

Mnet recently announced its newest survival show, Queendom Puzzle, which is slated to begin airing on June 13, 2023.

Mnet introduced the concept of the upcoming show as a competition between active girl groups or soloist idols competing to form a special project group. The show’s premise is similar to Kakao Entertainment‘s recent survival show, GIRL’S RE:VERSE, during which active girl group idols competed via virtual avatars to debut in the new virtual girl group, FE:VERSE.

i don’t think ANY fan of active groups want their faves to lose a member for this show. why would anyone want a single member to be part of another group? like it’s such a stupid show idea.

Although netizens seem excited that Girl’s Generation‘s Taeyeon will be the MC for this new spin on the Queendom series, there have been more mixed reactions around the confirmed lineup of contestants.

Recently, Mnet revealed how Queendom Puzzle would actually work through some cute graphics inviting fans to “start a journey” with their favorite idols.

According to the graphics, there will be “battles” between the 28 contestants, each showcasing “a new combination” of the contestants as they form different teams.

Queendom Puzzle episodes will likely showcase the growing synergy between each team’s members as the idols grow more comfortable working together.

Before they go on to show their “fantastic chemistry” as they perform as a team.

With each contestant hoping to be chosen as one of the final members of the project group, which will likely be determined by fan voting.

Some netizens are excited by the possible interactions they will see during the show, as their favorite idols may compete in the same team and could even end up debuting in the special group project.
