MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and I.M Take A Heartwarming Trip Down Memory Lane
In a video by Watta tv, MONSTA X‘s Hyungwon and I.M take a trip back to their hometown, Gwangju, as part of its Star Street Project.
They walked down the streets, marvelling at how long it had been since they were last there. I.M was amazed to see a mall he often went to was still around and recalled the pizza parlor he used to eat at after practice when he was still a trainee.
They soon arrived upon a mural honoring all the celebrities from Gwangju and were so excited to see their names and pictures alongside other famous idols, with I.M eagerly pointing out each time they appeared.
The duo were suprised by how many idols shared the same hometown as them, including their junior labelmate, CRAVITY‘s Woobin.
The Star Street Project also plans on displaying small figurines of each idol. I.M expressed disappointment that he wouldn’t be able to see them but Hyungwon lightened the mood by jokingly saying they should give theirs to their bandmate Joohoney, who is known for his love for figurines.
For a well-deserved break, they stopped by a well-known bakery and picked up some snacks they used to eat when they were younger.
Although Hyungwon and I.M have travelled and made memories together in cities around the world, it’s extra special to hear them reminisce together about their shared experiences in the city they grew up in. Check out the full video below!
