MONSTA X Officially Signs To Epic Records For All Future International Promotions
MONSTA X‘s global domination is just getting started. On May 28 it was announced that the group would be joining Western Pop royalty Mariah Carey, Outkast, and even Michael Jackson as signees under American record label Epic Records.
MONSTA X have already made quite a name for themselves interntionally, and have been credited in the past as contributors to the globalization of K-Pop. With a Billboard Top 10 album, two sold-out North American tours, and now even an American cartoon appearance under their belt, MONSTA X signing with Epic Records is just the next step in an already established worldwide dynasty.
Epic Records’ CEO Sylvia Rhone had this to say about the boys:
K-pop has indelibly impacted the global conversation and influenced culture everywhere. At the top of that conversation, you’ll find Monsta X. They’re ushering the genre into the future with an original style befitting of their experience, passion, and diverse influences. We’re honored to welcome them to the Epic Records family.
– Sylvia Rhone
Of course, MONSTA X thanked nothing and no one else for this opportunity than their MONBEBE.
We can’t thank our MONBEBE enough for their endless support and for making everything possible.
– MONSTA X [statement]
Congratulations to MONSTA X for this monumental opportunity, and we wish you nothing but success and happiness as members of the Epic Records team!
