MONSTA X’s Shownu Teams Up With His Idol Rain In An Unexpected Collab For TikTok
As a promotion for his upcoming single, “Why Don’t We” with Chungha (also known as CHUNG HA), soloist Rain has posted a new TikTok challenge for followers to participate in. This time, he enlisted some assistance from a familiar face: MONSTA X‘s beloved leader, Shownu!
Shownu has looked up to Rain for many years and credits him as the reason why he is an idol today. After seeing Rain’s “Bad Guy,” he was inspired to pursue a music career. Shownu’s nickname as a trainee was even “the second Rain” due to his dancing and singing.

The two finally got to meet each other for the first time last year on the JTBC variety show Hidden Singer 6. It’s heartwarming to see that the two kept in touch since then! Rain posted a video on his TikTok dancing to his new song with Shownu. You can watch the video below.
