Who Is Moses Martin? Everything You Need To Know About Coldplay Chris Martin’s Son Credited On BTS Jin’s “The Astronaut”
Recently, it was reported that BTS‘s Jin solo single “The Astronaut” was gifted to him by British rock band Coldplay.
Jin has expressed for years that he is a fan of Coldplay. Finally, last year, Jin and Coldplay worked together on the collaboration “My Universe” with the rest of BTS.
Jin: “I’m a big fan of Chris Martin. Thinking back now, it was truly incredible to be able to collaborate with Coldplay. It was such a precious time for me. I really like "Viva la Vida" and "Fix You" and we were able to cover "Fix You" recently! That made me especially happy.” pic.twitter.com/LrJZ0AJ2WF

Chris Martin and his fellow Coldplay members are not the only ones credited on “The Astronaut,” though. BIGHIT MUSIC revealed the song’s credits along with the inclusions for the physical album, and there are more notable names besides just them and Jin himself.
ARMYs noticed that the late Golden Globe award-winning composer Jóhann Jóhannsson was listed in the list of producers along with Norweigan DJ Kygo.

MAX MARTIN is probably the biggest collaborator anyone from BTS has ever partnered with. He has produced hits for artists like Britney Spears (Baby One More Time), Katy Perry (Teenage Dream), and Taylor Swift (Red, 1989). DO WE UNDERSTAND HOW HUGE #TheAstronaut IS???? #Jin

Many notable talented individuals are listed, but there is an unexpected one that only a few may recognize. It’s Moses Martin.
Moses Martin might not be a super famous musician, but he is the son of one. He is the 16-year-old son of Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
He, along with his dad, provides backing vocals for “The Astronaut.”

This wouldn’t actually be Moses’ first time providing vocals on a song. He has been featured on many of Coldplay’s songs, including “Adventure of a Lifetime,” “Humankind,” “Up&Up,” and more. Moses even served as a co-writer on “Orphans.”
Moses has joined his father on stage to sing on more than one occasion, even at a very young age. He has always been talented!
So, while ARMYs might not be so familiar with Moses, Coldplay fans have heard him for a while.
For #BTSARMY that has been asking…
Moses, Chris’ son, is 16 years old and has been featured on many amazing Coldplay songs such as Adventure Of A Lifetime, Orphans, Humankind, Up&Up and a bunch more. He is awesome!
You’ll only notice him if you pay close attention to the song. pic.twitter.com/DTdnvor7xf

While Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are no longer together, they continue to co-parent their kids Moses and Apple, and they all appear close. Moses crashed his mom’s interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, during the COVID-19 quarantine and expressed his passion for music.
So, we can certainly expect him to follow in his father’s footsteps!
