Nam Joo Hyuk is reportedly set for his K-Drama comeback after the smashing success of Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
According to an exclusive report from Sports Chosun, Nam Joo Hyuk has been cast as the male lead in new OTT K-Drama Vigilante. The K-Drama will be based off of the webtoon of the same name.
Vigilante tells the story of Jiyong, a police officer who spends his weekends hunting criminals who were not properly charged for their crimes. Nam Joo Hyuk would play the role of Jiyong, as he enters the police force to search for his parents’ enemies and teaching criminals not to mess with his neighborhood.
Vigilante is in the process of negotiating with a global OTT broadcast partner, likely Netflix. Nam Joo Hyuk’s agency Management SOOP has confirmed he was offered the role and is positively considering the offer.
