Former Boy Group Member Goes Public With His Girlfriend, Sparking Anger From Fans

Nam Seunghyun (known as Soon of N.CUS) is most known for his participation in 2023 survival program Fantasy Boys. He originally made his debut in 2019 with N.CUS, before leaving the group in late 2020. He was eliminated in the 10th episode of Fantasy Boys.

On July 4, 2024, he went viral amongst Japanese fans for his public lovestagrams. Fans found out that not only did he suddenly include his girlfriend’s handle on his profile, but he also posted various photos with her.

The pair have matching profiles.

Fans were further angered to note that she even had a Highlight Reel for him labeled “husband.”

Similarly, they used the ring emoji on both their profiles. Various photos of their dates were also uploaded.

The matter soon went viral with over 2 million views.

Fans have expressed their frustration and anger, wondering why they have to witness this on his public profile.

It seems that fans are angry for a reason. They knew from the start that he already had a girlfriend. However, they felt fooled by him, as during a recent birthday cafe event held in late May 2024, he promised his fans that he would make his debut and work harder.

He was always making it obvious that he had a girlfriend, and we just let him be even though we knew. But if you were going to do this, why did you say that you would work harder during your birthday cafe? Why did you say you would debut? Was this a dream that was so easy to give up?
