Nam Taehyun announced that his independent agency, The South, has officially been closed legally. He had set up his agency back in 2017 after leaving WINNER and YG Entertainment.
After 3 years, Nam Taehyun announced that he’s shut down his agency and found a new home for his band, South Club, in P&B Entertainment.
Our band (with the members’ agreement) found a new agency, and The South, which I had been running, has legally been shut down.
Although 3 years can be a short time, I learned a lot while running the company on my own. It was also a difficult and overwhelming system.
We found a new family with a set system and support, so I’m also glad that I’ll be able to focus solely on music.

P&B is a subsidiary of Soul Shop Entertainment, which is run by Kim Taewoo of g.o.d. P&B also houses celebrity chef Lee Won Il.
Nam Taehyun also announced that their upcoming album will be postponed and will instead return with a single album.
We decided to release a new single first with a brighter song that the public will like. We will continue to polish it and greet everyone with a better song ‘soon’.

Hello. This is South Club’s Nam Taehyun.
First, I want to apologize for the delay of our EP album that was scheduled to release with 5 new songs.
Our band (with the members’ agreement) found a new agency, and The South, which I had been running, has legally been shut down. Although 3 years can be a short time, I learned a lot while running the company on my own. It was also a difficult and overwhelming system. We found a new family with a set system and support, so I’m also glad that I’ll be able to focus solely on music.
After a lot of discussion with our agency, we decided to temporarily delay the release of our 5 new songs.
We decided to release a new single first with a brighter song that the public will like. We will continue to polish it and greet everyone with a better song ‘soon’.
I thought it would be best that I announce it first before the news reports got to it. Thank you for always trusting and waiting for me, even though I am lacking. Thank you for showering me with an overwhelming amount of love.
