“Inkigayo” PD Writes A Letter To NCT’s Doyoung 5 Whole Years After They Worked Together, Proving Doyoung’s Real Personality
Did you know that NCT‘s Doyoung used to MC for Inkigayo? He was part of the legendary JinJiDo trio consisting of GOT7‘s Jinyoung, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, and himself.
Although that was 5 years ago in 2017, the three are still close. Currently, Doyoung is promoting his group’s comeback, “2 Baddies”.
While his group was promoting, he ran into the PD that worked with him on Inkigayo. The PD had passed him a letter written on a postcard and Doyoung instantly showed it off on Instagram on September 30, 2022.
The PD had put a lot of thought into the gesture, even purchasing the postcard personally during a holiday in Firenze, Italy.
To Doyoung.
5 years ago, when we met when you were an MC, until now. Doyoung, who’s always been doing well, making me look forward even more to your future! I always think that the power of time is the most scary yet powerful thing.
Just like how it is all the time where your most shining days, days where things aren’t that great, all become an irrefutable proof of your life and achievements [omitted from photo], I’m cheering you on!
I hope you will become a Doyoung who is always bright and shines. (Feat. and very very healthy.)

From the PD’s kind words to Doyoung, you can tell just how treasured the star is. A relationship of 5 years is difficult to keep, especially in a working environment. This goes to prove that Doyoung’s true personality must have been really good, for the PD to go above and beyond to collect a souvenir for Doyoung, and write a thoughtful message to him. Hopefully, we’ll get to see them reunited one day, if Doyoung becomes a guest MC!
