As this was a long-awaited comeback, many fans were anticipating the album. However, due to the group’s jam-packed overseas schedule, they were not able to be in Korea during the album drop. Even when the group turned on the live broadcast, they received criticism for not turning it on time and left comments regarding comeback and choreography.

Most recently, the members began leaving messages to fans online regarding the new album, starting with Haechan.

Hello. Tomorrow is the last concert for the Dream Show 3 world tour. I’ll try my best to perform a fun performance until the end. We originally turned on the live broadcast to talk about the behind-the-scenes of writing lyrics and stuff…and that’s why I held it all in lol. But before anything, I have something I need to say. I know that our albums, including the most recent one, caused a lot of disappointment from fans.

Of course, every album can’t be perfect, but we and our company apologize for not looking into it more to create a better quality album and using the excuse of not having a lot of time. I can confidently say that it’s not because the members lacked skill wise.

— Haechan

Jeno also came onto Bubble to leave a message for fans.

“I feel like I need to say this, but I am sorry to all the fans who may have been disappointed by various matters. I know fans are disappointed, and we are sad about our choice and the situation. We can’t please everyone, but there are some things that we have to clearly accept.

It is only right to do our best. I will talk with the company and the members and try to improve the situation. I said it before, but we really wanted to make a good memory for everyone and I’m sorry that we couldn’t do that from the start…”

But thank you for worrying and supporting us. Don’t worry, I’m really fine. I’m just so so thankful and sorry. But please know one thing. DREAM and the company are doing our best. Instead of blaming someone… promotions are now starting. Let’s hwaiting together!
