NCT’s Jaemin Goes Against SM Entertainment And Uses His Own Money To Give Fans Extravagant Gifts

NCT‘s Jaemin has just given another reason why he really is a prince(ss)!

In June, Jaemin’s first photo exhibition, Narcissism, opened, allowing fans to see the idol’s photography on a larger scale. In addition to behind-the-scenes photos of NCT DREAM on display, Jaemin included several merchandise items for sale, made available worldwide for fans unable to attend.

In conjunction with the exhibition, a fan talk and fansign event were held on July 11. Before the event started, Jaemin shared an Instagram post showing him packing items featuring the Narcissism logo into bags.

It was later confirmed that these were gifts given to the event attendees! The items included a disposable camera, two perfumes, a reusable bag, an acrylic keychain, a frame made to fit one of the items sold at the exhibition, and cookies.

Attendees arriving at the event were also treated to drinks and snacks picked out by the idol.

While this was already a lot, what a fan later revealed made the entire process that much sweeter.

According to one of the event’s attendees, SM Entertainment initially said no to his idea of giving gifts to the fans attending the fansign. So, Jaemin prepared the gifts, with another fan stating that he paid for them himself!
