NCT‘s Johnny recently “revealed” his true height after years of confusing NCTzens.

While many K-Pop idols have an average height, fans often love talking about the idols on either side of the spectrum. Official profiles of groups and even trainees have heights included.

The Only Male K-Pop Idols Who Are Taller Than TXT’s Soobin

Most K-Pop idols are of average height, but fans have always expressed interest in the heights of those sitting on either end of the spectrum. One such idol is NCT’s Johnny, whose profiles often list him as 6’0 (around 182~183 cm).

In the past, when asked, Johnny would also say that he is 6’0, something that has confused fans for just as many years. This is because of comparisons to other idols who also have listed their heights as or around 6’0.

Recently, as part of promotions, NCT 127 visited the location of their pop-up shop and left behind some signatures and other things for fans to discover.

During the visit, Johnny let fans see how they compare to his height, marking a line on part of the exhibition’s decorations.

After the pop-up shop opened, one fan who visited took it into their own hands to get to the bottom of the mystery. Using a tape measure, the fan shared that the height Johnny marked was 188 cm (6’2).

Many fans expressed their delight at believing that Johnny was taller than he said he was being true, especially after not having believed him.
