NCT’s Lucas Surprises Fans As He Returns To Social Media With Unexpected New Update
After more than a year away from the public eye, NCT‘s Lucas has returned to social media with a new update, taking fans completely by surprise.
Lucas has been on an indefinite hiatus since gaslighting accusations were made against him in August 2021, when he halted all activities, including the then imminent release of his song “Jalapeño” with fellow WayV member Hendery.
While he has continued to receive criticism since then, he has also seen a rising amount of support from fans, many of whom want to see him back again.
His recent appearance in the NCT reality show, welcome to NCT Universe, raised hopes when it seemingly confirmed that he is still very much a member of NCT and WayV.

Now, he is making fans happy again as he provides an update himself. NCTzens had recently been celebrating his birthday (which is on January 25) by posting many touching messages of support.

To everyone’s surprise, Lucas appeared to respond by updating his social media. He posted a screenshot of what he was listening to (the Forrest Gump soundtrack), as well as a picture he took of the moon. He captioned the post with a prayer hands emoji.
Fans were more than happy to hear from him again…

Neither Lucas nor SM Entertainment have yet announced any plans for his return, but fans certainly can’t wait to see the day that he does.
