NCT’s Mark Finally Shows His Abs — But Fans Are Not Happy

On August 3, the first day of NCT 127‘s 8th-anniversary fan meet <8ECRET INVITATION> took place. Fans have been anticipating the events as the group has had fewer activities this year.

Like any other fan meeting, fans had an opportunity to not only see the group perform but see the members interact with each other in fun ways.

This included games where there was a penalty for losing members. One of the penalties on the board was to show their abs, which has been seen before with similar activities with other groups.

During the part of the show where the penalties were given, Mark and Jaehyun were given the ab-revealing one. Jaehyun completed the activity pretty quickly, much to the excitement of fans.

However, from the beginning, Mark appeared uncomfortable with the entire situation. When the penalty was first revealed, Mark seemed a little hesitant, shaking his head in disbelief.

When it was time for him to show his abs, he was very reluctant and did not want to do it, taking longer than Jaehyun to get it over with. Even after Jaehyun had completed the penalty, Mark was still affected, sparking concern from Doyoung and MC JaeJae.

It is well-known that among the members of NCT, Mark has always been more reserved when it comes to showing his skin. On previous occasions, he has refused to show his stomach.

Fans have commented on his discomfort during the fan meeting after this moment, hoping that in the future something like this will not happen again.
