NCT’s Renjun Might Have Broken A Guinness World Record After Creating His Instagram Account
NCT‘s Renjun has joined just joined Instagram and is already breaking records!
Since Renjun announced on the Bubble app that he had created an account, fans immediately flocked to the social media site and followed him. In a span of just two hours and five minutes, he already gained 1,000,000 followers, beating the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram!
The title, at this time, is held by Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint for 4 hours and 1 minute. However, Guinness World Records has acknowledged the possible change, and we might see an update from them soon.

Previously, Guinness World Records refused to acknowledge the record being broken by another NCT member, Taeyong, who gained 1 million in just 1 hour and 50 minutes. They claimed they measure the timing based on the account’s first post rather than when the account itself was created. Renjun will likely hold the title if this the case since he posted immediately after creating his account.
Renjun currently has 1.6 million followers and counting. The SM Entertainment Group, NCT, and NCT DREAM accounts have already followed him, and Mark is the first NCT member to follow him.
With his first post, which was a black-and-white selfie, he said that he hopes to post more photos of his daily life. It already has over 1 million likes!
