NCT’s Taeyong Gains Praise After Going Viral For Getting “Angry” At SMTOWN LIVE 2022
NCT‘s Taeyong went viral after he was seen expressing frustration to Sungchan during SMTOWN LIVE 2022. The reason why shows his true personality and innate leadership, gaining him praise from NCTzens.

Yet, a performance by Sungchan, Shotaro, and the three new SM Rookies also gained plenty of attention in its own right. Fans couldn’t help but gush about the sheer talent of Shohei, Seunghan, and Eunseok, who proved they are more than ready to make their successful debut.
As the idols all came onstage to perform “Hope,” which includes all the SM Entertainment artists, Taeyong and Sungchan had an exchange that left fans extremely intrigued.
Taeyong was seen approaching Sungchan with a question, but when Sungchan leaned in to answer it, Taeyong was left clearly frustrated with his reply. Fans wondered what Sungchan had said as it is extremely rare to see Taeyong this angry.

As it turns out, he had the best motive. According to a fan who was there, Taeyong had asked Sungchan where the SM Rookies were, not seeing them among the artists already onstage. Sungchan reportedly informed him that they were not to join the “Hope” performance. Upon hearing that, Taeyong immediately became outraged, as he had expected the rookies to be included.

NCTzens immediately praised Taeyong for being such a caring leader. Especially since footage also shows that he immediately went looking for the rookies after speaking with Sungchan.
