NCT’s Taeyong Shows The Real-Life Struggle Of Wearing The Infamous “Big Red Boots”

One idol who’s not afraid of experimenting with his fashion is NCT‘s Taeyong. The NCT leader recently made his Paris Fashion Week debut at the Loewe 2023 Fall/Winter collection show wearing a modern streetwear look as he sat by the runway.

Over the past month, you may have noticed a pair of cartoon-like red boots that have gone viral. MSCHF’s Big Red Boots, inspired by Astro Boy, have caught the attention of netizens and celebs and have been seen on Western artists such as Lil Wayne, Diplo, and Ciara.
The infamous boots, which have received wildly mixed reactions, have also been worn by K-Pop idols.
Somi, LE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae, and H.O.T‘s Jang Woo Hyuk have bravely worn the infamous boots and surprisingly pulled them off in a trendy way.
NCT’s Taeyong also joined the viral trend, and he also made the interesting boots look fashion-forward.
While he expertly posed for photos in the boots, he also shared a video that showed the real-life struggle of owning them on his TikTok.
Taeyong showed that the struggle was real when it came to removing the shoes, and even when he had assistance, they were difficult to take off.
Taeyong captured the hilarious removal process on TikTok, which showed him being pulled off a couch and onto the floor before the boots were removed.
