Earlier this month, it was announced that NCT would collaborate with Starbucks.

Fans quickly reacted to this announcement due to Starbucks’s ongoing boycott. Starbucks was not originally listed in the official boycott list provided by the BDS but has since been encouraged as a grassroots effort.

This has led to an ongoing boycott of NCT’s endorsement.

Now, many fans believe that WinWin has given his stance on the collaboration in a subtle way.

On May 30, WinWin shared a phone on Dear.U Bubble along with a message that featured the watermelon emoji.

Watermelon has been used to show support of Palestine as the colors match the Palestinian flag. Users on social media have added the watermelon emoji to their accounts to show their support, as well.

In addition to this message on Bubble, WinWin shared a post on Instagram that featured a cat and watermelon emoji.

As none of the images included a watermelon, some have found the timing to be suspicious and have taken it as WinWin showing his stance in a way that he can.

NCT’s Taeyong also spoke out about the collaboration, which you can read about below.
