NCT Wish’s Riku Gets Called Out For Allegedly Ignoring A Fan At A Fansign
On August 28, 2024, a post calling out NCT Wish‘s Riku went viral online. The original poster had uploaded the video onto an online community site, receiving over 1,698 views in under two hours. Later on, it was reposted to X, where it gained over 240,000 views.
Riku was called out for allegedly ignoring a fan at a fansign.

In the video, the fan can be heard complimenting him, even switching to Japanese for the star. He only responds with a “thank you,” in the end before she moves on.
- Fan: “Riku, you were so cool today too.”
- Fan: “You are the most angelic in the world.”
- Fan: “Riku, I was so lucky to have found out about you.”
- Fan: “Bye bye, thank you.”
- Riku: “Thank you.”
Later, the fan responded to comments that asked if he had responded with a nod or in any other way.
- Comment: “Did he not even respond at all? Did he just stare at you? Why is he like that?”
- OP: “If he just smiled while looking at me, I wouldn’t even be upset.”
- Comment: “Did he not even nod?”
- OP: “If he did, I wouldn’t have posted this.”
Netizens were seething on the fan’s behalf.
