NCT 127’s Doyoung Fought A Lonely Battle To Secure One Song On The Tour Setlist

Thank you Doyoung!

Recently, on April 9, NCT 127 released the behind-the-scenes video for their NEO CITY: THE MOMENTUM concert.

The video detailed the concert’s planning process, including the set list, concert sequence, and overall production.

As this was the first time to hold a tour with just six members, they felt that they should create a performance that fans would remember for a long time.

If you like someone for a long time, it becomes more than just a relationship. These are all memories of the time spent with these people and the many moments we shared. I feel like there should be more than something we’ve done before or something that they can remember for a long time.

With this, Doyoung suggested their B-side track “Far” for to add to the setlist. However, this was met with much criticism from the other members who felt that this was one of their lesser known songs.

Haechan: Do you really want to do this?

Jungwoo: I won’t do it even if I die!

Mark: Regardless of liking it or not, isn’t the song really not popular?

Doyoung: But the grandeur of this song is insane!

Haechan: One thing for certain is that this song has the least amount of views.

Doyoung: Then do you know how many songs we have to take out then?! We don’t have many songs that are popular…

It was through this video that fans were able to see what a lonely battle Doyoung had to fight in order to have this song included in the tour.

Haechan: Let’s not switch it out and just take it off the list.

Jungwoo: This is the first time the audio is this full…

Haechan: Come on, guys, we just need to get rid of ‘Far’.

Doyoung: If you keep going like this I’m not going to drink beer with you during the tour!

But as fans know, this song ended up being the most remembered song from the tour!

The personal color of the group is ‘revolution’.

Fans also agreed that the production scale for the song was unreal and could be enjoyed even from the nosebleed seats.

Hearing Doyoung’s three-octave high note from the fourth floor is crazy.

Guess we all need to thank Doyoung for pushing through with his ideas!

On the other hand, there is one song that Doyoung cannot stand!
