Fans Slam KWANGYA 119 For Not Doing Its Job Regarding Recent NCT Allegations

Recently, NCT’s Haechan and Johnny have been accused of sleeping with three girls. An X user, well-known in the Japanese nightlife industry, posted alleged photos of the hotel and room key the members stayed in.

The allegations gained more traction as it was reported that two of the girls were fans of NCT.

Although the original post has since been deleted, the posts have already gone viral worldwide. With this, many netizens could not hide their shock regarding the allegations.

NCTzens demanded that SM Entertainment protect their artists regarding the allegations.

Fans began to send in complaints to SM’s reporting center, KWANGYA 119. This website allows fans to file reports to protect the rights of the artists.

The ‘KWANGYA 119′ website, a reporting center for protecting the rights and interests of SM artists, is now live.

You can access ‘KWANGYA 119′ after logging in with your SMTOWN ID and file a report on ‘ARTIST Defamation Report’, ‘Illegal Ticket/Copyright Infringement Report’ and ‘Correction Report & Suggestion’ pages.

Although they used the site to file reports, fans felt that they weren’t doing its job.

This giant company is seriously not doing its job. Please file a report. Why did you make KWANGYA 119, then? Please protect the artists. All these groundless rumors are coming out, and will you just let them go? It’s because you guys aren’t doing anything that these crazy people keep playing around with o ur boys.

Previously, a lawyer who works at SM revealed that it actually takes quite a bit of time to resolve a report that is received.

The staffs take care of everything first. Take a look at everything posted on the site and select out materials that appear to be capable of filing a complaint.

Afterwards, they choose cases where legal action can be taken and cross-check data. All of this takes quite a bit of time. However, he did also mention that cases that have been reported by the media or have an increased risk to the artist are processed quicker.
