Netflix Confirms Actor Ji Chang Wook Will Star In New K-Drama Titled “The Sound Of Magic”
Ji Chang Wook has been confirmed for the drama The Sound Of Magic!
Previously, it was reported that Ji Chang Wook had been offered the main role in the drama, which is based on a popular Naver webtoon titled Annarasumanara.
And now, Netflix has confirmed that Ji Chang Wook will be starring in the male lead role of a mysterious yet immature magician who asks everybody he meets the question, “Do you believe in magic?”
Alongside Ji Chang Wook, the confirmed cast includes actress Choi Seung Eun, who will play a clever young girl who happens to meet the magician and experiences “incredible” things following their encounters, and Hwang In Yeop, who plays a student whose life changes after he begins to learn and show an interest in magic.
The Sound Of Magic will be directed by Itaewon Class director Kim Sung Yoon, and in a statement, Netflix said,
The pair, who created great synergy in their previous work, will combine magic, music, and sentimentalism to reincarnate The Sound of Magic.
Ji Chang Wook’s last project was the drama Lovestruck in the City, alongside actress Kim Ji Won.
