Netflix’s “The Boyfriend” Contestants Share A Spicy, Drama-Worthy Kiss After Unexpected Issues

Finally!

Netflix‘s The Boyfriend, Japan’s first gay dating reality program, has grown increasingly popular as the season has progressed.

Unlike other dating programs, The Boyfriend‘s contestants have a goal outside of romance, which has added to many watchers’ experiences. The men must work together to run a food truck, allowing non-romantic bonds to form.

Though many contestants are well-liked, one potential couple has quickly become a fan favorite.

Dai and Shun, known as DaiShun, have kept viewers watching as the pair have grown closer romantically.

However, through the season, Shun has given mixed signals about his feelings for Dai, sparking concerns over their potential “endgame” status. These concerns only increased after recent episodes showed Dai having experiences with other contestants.

The latest episode has gotten rid of these concerns in the best way!

On July 23, episodes 7 and 8 were added and saw the pair attempt to resolve the jealousy that arose with Dai’s time spent with Ikuo. Dai expresses his feelings for Shun, admitting that he might have fallen in love with him already.

After a few ups and downs, the two finally get things sorted out, with Dai inviting Shun to sleep beside him. The two cuddle in and have a tension-filled moment together after Shun joins Dai.

At one point Shun sits up slightly, as Dai looks on. Dai then turns Shun to face him, bringing him in for a passionate and long-awaited kiss.

Fans of the couple have been thrilled by this latest development, seemingly ending the push and pull relationship between Dai and Shun.
