While the K-Drama primarily focused on the “love triangle” of Jae I, Kang Ha, and Ri An, one relationship intrigued viewers more.
That is He Ra and Woo Jin.
It's funny that before the release, we were all convinced that Woojin and Hera were together as a powerful couple, only for it to turn out that Woojin has a one-sided love for Hera.
Anyway, the chemistry is still on top; They carried the whole show!

Like Ri An and Jae I, the two have been friends for years. Yet, they were kept apart for various reasons. For instance, He Ra had a one-night stand with another student at Woo Jin’s birthday party but harbored feelings for her best friend’s boyfriend, Ri An. On the other hand, Woo Jin had a shocking and questionable relationship with their teacher.
This surprised me more than the drugs and literal murder in this show 😭😭😭#hierarchy #HierarchyEp2 pic.twitter.com/oYtD8f80I0

Yet, throughout the K-Drama’s seven episodes, we see that Woo Jin cares more about He Ra than anyone else. By the end, he even confesses his feelings.

Still, there was no indication they ended up together, and viewers felt robbed. He Ra and Woo Jin had so much “wasted chemistry” that they never became a couple or even shared a kiss. Many are saying the writers and director “fumbled the bag” regarding this couple.
should've made use of their joint slay, wasted potential pic.twitter.com/OKa3RAOrDy

As the finale’s post-credit scene indicated there might be a Season 2, we can only hope to see Woo Jin and He Ra become an official couple.
