A Popular “Single’s Inferno 4” Cast Member Is Already Losing Fans
Spoiler Alert
Netflix‘s Korean dating series Single’s Inferno is back with a fourth season and a brand new cast of singles. Who will leave the island together? Right now, it’s anyone’s guess, but in the meantime, viewers are choosing which singles to root for.
One of the male cast members is artist Yuk Jun Seo, who served in the Navy Special Warfare Flotilla (UDT/SEAL).
If he looks familiar, it could be because he made his acting debut in another Netflix series: the popular K-Drama Sweet Home.
In the beginning, Jun Seo’s appearance, style, profession, and overall refreshing demeanor endeared him to viewers. He brought an air of mystery to the show. By Episode 4, however, some viewers felt differently about Jun Seo, largely because of his interactions with another cast member, Chung You Jin.
Some viewers felt like Jun Seo misunderstood You Jin and that she hadn’t been treated fairly.
after watching #SinglesInferno4 I am a bit annoyed at how youjin is being treated like what has she actually done. the way junseo is implying that she was fake during their initial meet is annoying me. they hate to see a bubbly girl. also, he’s talking about it became awkward….

Junseo totally misunderstood Youjin, I was ready to root for him but rubbed me the wrong way how quickly he dropped her and totally went about his way trying to avoid her + set her up with Theo… #SinglesInferno4

Why is youjin expected to make the first move towards junseo? He’s the one that came from paradise with another girl. Then afterwards sitting coldly next to her without making convo, I get why she felt awkward and talked to theo. #SinglesInfernoSeason4

I kinda feel bad for youjin like she was just being herself at the campfire and junseo misunderstood her #SinglesInferno4

Others have speculated that Jun Seo is supposed to be this season’s Dex (Kim Jin Young). In Season 2 of the show, Dex—once a cast member, now a panelist—was the mysterious newcomer who immediately garnered interest. Both viewers and cast members fell for his straightforward, charismatic personality.
But so far, this so-called Dex 2.0 is rubbing some viewers the wrong way.
I think junseo thought he was gone be like dex this season, I could see it from the way he acted especially on his second date, so I guess he must been surprised when youjin didn’t fall at his feet like all the other girls before, #SinglesInferno4
