Following SM Entertainment‘s announcement regarding former NCT member Taeil‘s sex crime scandal and removal from the group, the Bangbae Police Station confirmed that he has been under investigation since June 2024.
Police State Taeil Has Been Under Investigation For Sexual Crimes Since June
Korean netizens were divided in their response to his investigation.
- “Since June? That’s crazy.”
- “Was his contract with SM Entertainment also terminated? I know he was removed from the group.”
- “I guess the company didn’t know either because he was on hiatus… The employees must be going through it right now.”
- “June…? This motherf*cker! He got some guts coming to the fan meeting.”
- “You all keep saying that SM Entertainment tried to negotiate with the reporters until they couldn’t anymore and then threw him out… But Korean hard news reporters aren’t like that. They are the worst kind. If they find out about something, they will release it.”
