Netizens Aren’t Happy With The Cast Of Upcoming tvN Drama “See You In My 19th Life”
Upcoming tvN K-Drama, See You In My 19th Life, is already facing criticism before its release.
On November 15, the drama released its casting list. According to, See You In My 19th Life, the drama will be led by a cast starring actors Shin Hae Sun, Ahn Bo Hyun, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Ahn Dong Goo.
See You In My 19th Life is a fantasy romance based on the webtoon of the same name, revolving around Ban Ji Eum, who has lived 18 prior lives and is on life 19. Ban Ji Eum retains her memory from her past lives and is desperately seeking Mun Seo Ha, who she fell in love with in life 18.
The drama announced that Shin Hae sun would be playing the role of Ban Ji Eum and Ahn Bo Hyun would be playing the role of Mun Seo Ha.
Netizens reacted to the news of the cast with mixed reviews. In the original webtoon, Mun Seo Ha is a frail character who is often sick and faints easily. According to a news report, fans of the original comic, therefore, are stating that casting Ahn Bo Hyun, who is 187cm tall, has broad shoulders, and is a former boxer, was a mistake.
A news report alleges that fans have stated, “(Ahn Bo Hyun) looks like he’s never been frail in his life,” and expressed disappointment over his casting. Other netizens chimed in online, expressing similar sentiments over the drama’s cast.
