SM Entertainment is known to recruit multi-talented trainees with dancing and singing skills who also have unreal visuals.

The company’s girl group members are gorgeous and began with SM Entertainment’s first girl group S.E.S., which debuted in 1997 and whose members are still known for their stunning visuals to this day.

This year, SM Entertainment’s first 2nd-gen girl group, Girls’ Generation, reunited and made their first comeback in five years, showing their unaging beauty while they promoted their new album, joined the SM Family at their annual SMTOWN LIVE 2022 concert in Seoul, and held their own Long Lasting Love fan sign event.

SM Entertainment currently has two active girl groups, 3rd-gen stars Red Velvet and 4th-gen top rookies aespa, and both groups continued the tradition of beauty and talent with their catchy releases this year.

Recent activity on the two groups’ Instagram accounts confused fans, as photos of both groups’ members were uploaded one by one to Red Velvet’s and aespa’s accounts. Fans hilariously questioned at first if the accounts’ admins mistakenly mixed up the groups.

The confusion was quickly clarified after it was revealed that aespa and Red Velvet would be releasing a collaboration single, “Beautiful Christmas,” on December 14 (KST).

The members released two sets of concept photos for the upcoming single, wearing adorable Santa dresses in individual photos…

… and coming together for a pastel-wonderland photo, wearing cute pajamas and overwhelming netizens with their combined visuals.

Despite the six years between their debuts, they seamlessly formed one dazzling “mega-group” and made fans’ dreams come true after wishing for more interactions between the two popular groups.
