Most recently, withmuu announced a special DRAMA OST SPECIAL EVENT for fans purchasing the OST album.

Fans will receive two photo cards (random) out of a total of 11 cards for every album purchased. Additionally, they will receive one mini L holder upon purchase.

They added that this special event was only available at the Seoul pop-up store and not at the Busan location.

However, this event was not welcomed with a positive response from fans. They felt that this was unfair to those who ordered the albums through the pre-sales.

  • “If you want to make more money, sell this online too.”
  • “These money-hungry guys…the pre-sale shipments are all backed up. Are they stealing them for this?”
  • “Making the people who bought it through pre-sales look like losers.”
  • “Are you kidding me?”

They also couldn’t understand why they would promote this type of event when they weren’t even real idols.

Wow it’s random again. Is this a K-Pop community? Now I have to buy another album.

We’re a drama fandom, not an idol fandom. Also, why doesn’t Sunjae have a selfie for the photo card? Where are things going with this..?

Not even giving us an ‘M! Countdown’ performance and yet selling photo cards as if we’re an idol fandom…

Netizens also felt that this was commercialism at its finest.

  • “I can see all the K-Pop Stans being like ‘what’s wrong with this’ in the comments lol. Anyway I already bought the album that gave the main character’s photos card so I don’t need this.”
  • “They should have made it random with the two main characters as a given and added a photo of them, too.”
  • “This is a drama OST. The two main characters should be included. Why are they giving it out at random.”
  • “This is all commercialism.”
  • “The album is really expensive. How many songs are on it? Although this is seen as drama merchandise and not as artists, 50,000 KRW is still too much.”
  • “If this is random photo cards, just don’t buy it.”
  • “I think they are upset because it’s random photo cards.”
  • “Is it because they are giving random photo cards offline only?”
  • “Are they idols? Lol.”
  • “It’s so funny how K-Pop Stans aren’t fazed at all because they are so used to random photo cards lol.”
  • “Drama merch is usually given in sets and not by random…but this drama is slowly increasing its photo cards since the pop-up store…they’re upset because random photo cards are only for offline purchases…”
