Netizens Debunk aespa’s Giselle And TREASURE Jihoon’s Viral Dating Rumors
Netizens have reacted to dating rumors resurfacing between aespa‘s Giselle and TREASURE‘s Jihoon.
Earlier this year, dating rumors between Giselle and Jihoon surfaced, fueled by an alleged photo of the pair “kissing.” The rumors were quickly sorted out as false, as the true source of the photo was discovered.

However, it seems they have resurfaced following an interaction at a recent award show.
On November 17, the second day of the 2024 Korean Grand Music Awards took place and hosted a number of K-Pop idols. Both aespa and TREASURE were in attendance, with each group taking home awards.
During one of aespa’s award speeches, the camera’s focus shifted to Jihoon, who appeared a bit flustered while smiling. An account posted this to imply his reaction was due to aespa being on stage, refueling the previously false dating rumors.

Almost instantly, netizens reacted, taking steps to debunk the reason for Jihoon’s reaction. According to a fan posted clip, Jihoon’s reaction was due to the camera being focused on him for an extended amount of time, rather than to who was on stage.

That smile isnt smile of blushing. He smile awkwardly because according to the op present there, the cameraman had his camera faced towards him for a couple of minutes. He even said “it’s (quite) burdensome” to have it (the camera) facing him.

There is nothing wrong with idols dating, but it makes sense that fans would still like the information to not be based on twisting the truth.
