RIIZE Anton’s Rumors Over Alleged Couple Necklaces Get Debunked
RIIZE‘s Anton was recently embroiled in dating rumors. A photo of him holding hands with a girl leaked on the internet. The photo had originally been uploaded on her private Instagram account. She is said to be his childhood friend.
After the rumors broke out, she took to social media to deny any romantic relationship. According to the girl, they had been in a group setting when the photograph was taken. She claims to be his childhood friend, and explained that the photo was used to commemorate it.
On the other hand, some claim that the girl in the hand-holding photos are not his actual girlfriend. Just as her statement reads, netizens believe that she truly was simply his friend. Netizens brought up another of his pre-debut friends as his alleged “girlfriend,” differentiating her from the girl in the photos due to their hair color.
Netizens savaged the new girl’s personal social media accounts, claiming that she had couple necklaces with Anton.
This was quickly debunked. Fans found that the so-called “couple necklaces” were friendship necklaces with their friend group and swim team. They found the necklace on other friends of Anton too.
Anton was known to have been part of a swim team during his schooling days. Many of his friends stem from the team.
As for the necklace that the girl is wearing, a quick look at her Instagram account shows that the necklaces are a completely different set. We have verified that she has been wearing the Cartier Love Necklace since 2021, adding on a small diamond pendant layer later on. She often wears the set together as can be seen on her social media.
Due to the light’s reflection, the necklaces looked similar to the pair that was spotted on Anton. On the other hand, Anton’s lock necklace with an engraved “A” on it is actually not representative of his name or any romantic nature. He can only be seen wearing the necklace in the concept photos for MEMORIES.
Deeper research showed that the necklace was actually from a brand called AMBUSH, where the engraved “A” stands for the brand.
It is likely that the necklace was put on him by the stylist for the shoot. He has not been pictured with it again.
With that, hopefully rumors about his alleged relationship will be put to a halt.
