Netizens Discover Proof That NewJeans’ Minji Is Officially A Luxury Brand Ambassador
NewJeans‘s first public event was an appearance at a Chanel pop-up in Seoul, setting the tone for what to expect from the trendsetting group less than a month after they surprised the world with their unannounced debut.
Despite their rookie status in the industry, the group has been making big waves in both music and fashion.
The members effortlessly infused high-end fashion with their signature Y2K charm at the N°1 DE CHANEL GARDEN pop-up in Seoul, even iconically rocking their own merch on the event’s red carpet.

A month after the Chanel event, the members made their “airport fashion” debut, with Minji, Hanni, and Haerin wearing CELINE while Danielle wore Burberry, and Hyein sported the popular brand Diesel.
After their iconic appearances in high-end fashion, it was expected that the members would soon be named global ambassadors of luxury fashion brands.
In January, NewJeans’ Danielle was named an ambassador for Burberry, and Hyein was officially named the youngest ambassador of Louis Vuitton at only 14 years old.
Hanni was named a brand ambassador for Gucci in October 2022 and was recently named an ambassador for Armani Beauty. Now it seems NewJeans’ leader Minji is also a fashion brand ambassador!
On February 13, ELLE Korea posted on their official Instagram teasing the reveal of “the new girl” who would be unveiled in the second photo of their post.
The second photo revealed NewJeans Minji’s in a gorgeous Chanel dress. The caption announced that Minji’s first cover issue of ELLE Korea will be released tomorrow, February 14, and that she is officially Chanel’s newest ambassador!
NewJeans’ official social media accounts have yet to make the announcement themselves, but seeing as they have made announcements for Hyein, Hanni, and Danielle, Minji’s is sure to follow soon.
Netizens are now eagerly awaiting Haerin’s future status as a brand ambassador and are closely eyeing DIOR after Haerin was spotted rocking the brand on multiple occasions.
